2014 NC 700X (NOT DCT)(18,000 miles) $4500
New battery. Tires and chain/sprockets are very good. Have stock muffler, new air filter and many other parts included. Body and all cosmetics in great condition. Owned by old man that has decided it's time to hang up my helmet.
Located in Central...
I had my lock recall done by the dealer yesterday. They had the part in stock a few days after I purchased my bike. It took me a couple months to find the time to take it in. I had no problems before I took it in. Other than the short lived rear tire, I love this bike!
As I mentioned... The stock Honda well nuts are fine for the stock shield. Larger shield means more leverage against a system not designed for it. (BTW, I did read older posts about the potential problem with aftermarket shields and stock fasteners. That was the reason I saw the stock nut wells...
I just received Dale's (HONDABIKEPRO) Nut plates for my 2014 NC700X. They are so beautifully crafted and built that I HATE hiding them behind the windshield bracket! They are such an awesome solution to a problem that could be life threatening. (My C** B****y windshield tried to fly off my bike...
I installed Cee Bailey tall dark windscreen. Nice upper body protection. The wind still hits me in the helmet, but it's not bad. I can duck down if I have to. Seems to be secure, but not over tightened. 900 miles on the clock...Time for a good long ride!:D
Rode 250 miles today. Went to the world famous Pozo Saloon for a burger.
I really like this bike! Handles great for the speeds i ride. The frunk is awesome! The low revs are exactly the way I shift. I never liked wringing a motor out. (RD-350 was the exception.) Anyway, After about six hours...
I just installed my radiator guard and fenda extenda. Also did a little preflight for tomorrow's ride. Waiting for Triumph fork guards and film for frunk top and sides...

I'll dig up some pictures. I think I have one of the Transalp around here still. I have more of the Beemer, RD350, CB550, etc... I wish I still had some of the old bikes. They are popular with the cafe crowd.
After lurking on all the motorcycle forums on the planet Earth(and some from beyond), I finally have my brand new 2014 NC700X in my garage!
I was really torn between the Honda and a Moto Guzzi V7 Stone. I think The frunk and the fact that the NC is made by Honda were the clincher. (Like Honda's...
I wave at everyone. If they are on Harleys they are usually too cool to wave back... I figure they are afraid to let go of the bars for a second... Or something like that. (Or maybe you can't hold your smoke, beer, and Old Lady's leg at the same time) I dunno. I'm going back to lurking!
Mike
Happy,
They were offended because you were trying to pass that off as a radiator guard... "Everyone" knows that is an oil pan guard!
(Sorry, I'll go back to lurking...tail between legs as I crawl back under the rock....)

Stopped at the Honda dealer (30 miles away) today. Right by the front door was a shiny NC700X (With dual clutch.) It looks so much better in person! Even with a pinched nerve in my back and barely able to walk, I had to climb on that bike...
My short legs were able to reach the ground! Had to...
I looked at the Fit pictures and it looks like they have adjustment screws. Also noticed on another post that it has screw adjusters. Valve adjustments are the biggest plus, for me, on this bike. I hate spending hundreds of dollars for labor, shims, etc...
My old Sportster really had me spoiled...
Christian, I followed your post to this new site. Thank you. I'm still trying to find out if the valves use screw adjusters or shims. (I looked at the Honda Fit motor and it looks like it has screws.) Thanks for any help.
