A few people have been scammed on the site, Only use paypal to pay for items for sale by other members. If they will not use paypal, its likely a scam NEVER SEND E-TRANSFERS OF ANY KIND.
considering motorcycles don't have a very robust electrical supply, and my wife drained her battery programming the instrument cluster when she got her new NC, I'd not leave it on
the battery tender JR is perfectly fine. getting the big brother just charges a flat battery faster. plug it in, attach to battery, and forget about it. it's a float charger. it'll stop charging when done and start when needed
Ah ok. FWIW, I pulled the stator myself, found the short, and took it to an electrical place to have them rewind and solder it. I can't imagine what a motorcycle shop, or a dealer would have charged. yikes
I have a honda that had a weird short in the stator. local place fixed it for 25 bucks. sounds a lot like your problem, but anecdotal. Up to you if you wanna check it.
