Hello from North Carlina. Charlotte vicinity. My last motorcycle was a '68 BSA 650 Lightning (the fastest street bike at the time). I decided to jump back in and chose the NC over the VStrom and Versys. I love it. Great bike! So much easier to maneuver than that BSA (although that BSA was fun)...

On this next trip, that stretch from Houston to El Paso should be interesting (for all those who have seen 'No Country for Old Men').

The tires are a bit of a problem. Still plenty of tread but they're getting 'squared off' from all the highway miles. Thinking about Michelin road pilot 3's before I head west.
