2015: What did you do to/with your NC700 today?

Took the new bike for a spin around town and to the grocery store. Best grocery getter i have ever owned!

    New NC700X Rider (Take 2)

Can't wait for warmer weather tomorrow. The NCX even makes grocery shopping fun. Hoping to put some good milage on. I'm at a whopping 35 miles right now <shakes head and slowly walks away>

Looking at an NC700x for occasional two up and dirt roads

I have done a short ride on the back of my own NCX a and find the back seat pretty comfy. I have the OEM trunk and a small back rest cushion would work great. I am used to riding pillion on a Sportbike (sometimes for 100's of miles) so I have felt the worst seats imaginable. The right pants...

    New NC700X Rider (Take 2)

It's just a completely different style/body position than I'm used to. This is me on my other bike. Sitting upright and not putting weight on the bars and using your body as much to steer just feels foreign. I'm sure with miles it will become much more familiar.

    New NC700X Rider (Take 2)

My issue with the NCX in the twisties is the upright riding position and how sensitive the steering is. I typically trail break in corners with a little front brake on my Sportbike. Tried it on the NCX and majorly blew my line since te bike stood up and I wasn't leaning on the clip on like you...

How about a game of NC tag? Its a lot of fun!

Lol I'm new to GA so I lay no claim...but TN. I've marked my territory all over that state LOL

    New NC700X Rider (Take 2)

I've been to barber...have run track days there. Have the scars to prove it! LOL. I have only been to texas twice in my life and it was by plane. I'm sure this country has MANY amazing roads I'm unaware of, hence why I bought a bike to get me there. As for Deals Gap. I have been there more...

    New NC700X Rider (Take 2)

Have never heard of the 3 twisted sisters. Time to do some research. And just curious but what is needed to get a "signature"? A certain number of posts. Says I can't have one :o/

    New NC700X Rider (Take 2)

If you ride long enough you eventually taste pavement. I had two spills on gravel in my first year of riding back on my 2004 ninja 250. Hurt my big toe (still hurts 11 years later in heels LOL). Haven't had a spill on the street since (track is a different story). Guess I was over due. Happy...

    New NC700X Rider (Take 2)

Compared to the GSXR the seat feels like heaven. I tried to do some "touring" on my Sportbike. I've even done a 650 mile day on it in the Ozarks. That was all curves though so I'm sure the highway will hurt more. I find if I wear my leathers I can go 300+ miles with no soreness. Jeans and...

    New NC700X Rider (Take 2)

I have taken a bit of grief from my Sportbike friends as they think my new bike is "weird" looking and underpowered. I have enjoyed the short amount of time I have had on it. I love the speed of my Sportbike and hope to keep doing track days but the NCX is damn fun to ride and comfortable. I...

    New NC700X Rider (Take 2)

Thanks! I can never stay off a motorcycle for long. I just can't believe with all the hell I have raised on that GSXr in 40,000 miles of twisty roads I never had any get offs and then have a nasty high side while doing the speed limit on a empty straight away. Visibility us sucked as it was...

Well I'm new...and reviving the thread again LOL. I'm 5'1" and have considered lower my new NC but I have been riding 11 years now and like a challenge. I can't touch both feet at the same time but just the balls of my left foot are all I need. Now that I have the full luggage set, it sits a...

    New NC700X Rider (Take 2)

Hey everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Kathy and I live outside of Atlanta in Acworth, GA. I have been riding sportbikes for about 11 years now and have finally decided to "slow my roll" a bit and take in the sights. I bought my first NC700X in May of 2014. I had the...
