    Switching Between Tires

Thanks for the input guys. I do like Old Can Ride's advice here, just wait for the stock tires to need replacing (likely right about next spring) then put on the Conti's. Looks like they're well suited for the occasional off road jaunt taken a bit carefully. Just returned a slime pump that was...

    Switching Between Tires

My NCX is primarily a commuter, but I do want to take it out on forest service roads and pack trails on long weekend rides. Thinking about picking up a TKC80 set, but wondering how practical it is to swap between the tire sets as needed - street tires normally, then throw on the dual sport tires...

    Frunk Camping

I'm impressed with your packing ability! I did a similar ride a few weeks back, overnight on the Oregon coast, as a test for future longer weekend trips. I didn't have a backpack, but I sure did fill up my Givi's. It was my first time hammock camping and I've got a few changes to make for next...

Erok, that is crazy! We must cross paths on our commute, I live in Keizer and commute to Canby. Used to commute to Beaverton/Hillsboro and know how much of a drag that amount of mileage was. Where do you work that brings you all the way here to Keizer?

Ah, the mothership! Nice place? I'm going to be sending my 'stitch in to them for a bit of cleaning (it's 10+ years old, but in excellent shape) and tailoring (apparently I have a long inseam, had to take the knee cap protectors out to ride comfortably) - I'll have to do that before the rainy...

Yes, that seat.... The first ride was frighteningly uncomfortable, but I was expecting that from the comments on the forum. Over the first 900 miles I've seemed to have broken into the seat a bit. Still, after a long day at the office it's hard to get comfortable on the bike for the commute...

DIY Garage door opener - cost $0.00

I was installing the Honda heated grips this weekend, and since I had installed the high-beam-activated garage door opener on my previous bike I thought it would be an opportune time to install the same thing here. Turns out, Honda prewired the bike for this mod! If you pull the left side...

Thanks! Yes, saw the map, that's great. I think I've seen one in the wild already aside from my own.

Only been up to B.C. a handful of times, Victoria and Vancouver, hope to again soon. It is beautiful and we are considering moving up there once the kids are grown!

Thanks! Yes, I spent a year in texas (Longview) and I do have to agree that the roads are much nicer here in the NW. Most are nice soft asphalt which simply wouldn't hold up in the Texas heat.

Hey everyone! I've been quietly stalking this excellent forum for the last month or so, and it was a huge help in making my decision to purchase an NC700X. I've owned mine now for two weeks, going from 0 to 900+ miles on the odometer, and am loving it! Farkles I've installed include the...
