I've been looking for the right truck but most of those that I wanted cost more than I was willing to spend. I found this one, a 2022 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel 3.0 L that has literally every available option. It only has 13k miles on the truck and was a Ram Corporate Vehicle in Michigan. It still had the protective plastic from the manufacturer on the rear seats and all the little extra bits were also still factory packaged. I found it up in Orlando and jumped on it as it was over $10k less than any other Ram1500 Ltd, none of which had the same build sheet, not even close. Rides like a dream and will tow 12,500 pounds. Elane and I a planning on purchasing a travel trailer so this was step one. On the ride home from Orlando I got 25.2 actual MPG. Today on a short ride on I75 I got 29MPG. None of the smaller trucks would work for us so full size it was. Rides like a dream (better than my Cadillac, actually) and it just pulls its weight effortlessly. I traded the Cadillac in as I paid next to nothing for it at the beginning of covid and it cost me only $1000.00 (vehicle only, not maintenance) to own it for 51 months after getting a good value on the trade. It was not worth the hassle of selling it privately for the $1k. Anyhow, pretty stoked about it. Oh yeah, it was never used tow anything, the vehicle records towing as an additional measure; no data and the receiver has not a mark on it.
