Sounds like you will have to watch him close. Itlives has changed his own timing chain tensioner on the NC7, he knows more about that than I do. I know Itlives would be glad to give you any advise you need on the timing chain tensioner. I have 95000 miles, and I have not ran into that problem YET?

Hey "Old", I dropped the bike off at the dealer. He seems to think it's the timing chain tensioner too. No bedside manor, thinks he's the only game in town. Like my wife says, people suck, lol. I don't have a good feeling about leaving it with him. I even had to ask him for a receipt that he even took possession of the bike.
