I don't know why so many feel the need to attack my driving... I drive fast, if you dont, fine....just stay in the grandma lanes.....
I dont have any accidents, never crashed,and only 1 speeding ticket ever.

I simply asked if anyone wanted to change their mirrors....lol

That video is quite funny, though. Especially because I am Italian...

And to be clear, you CAN definitely see behind with the new mirrors I posted. I just mentioned that the OEMs do have a wider field of view. That being said, it's not so much a safely downfall, as i can see behind me in adjacent lanes...

This is about aftermarket mirrors, not a driving intervention for poor Mr. Friday.....lol

You can definitely get a sense of the more cautious riders that "live" in this forum. I'm one of them.
To me though, your driving is on you as long as you don't endanger anyone. Kind of like helmet laws and seat belts. I don't agree with either, but I would use both even without being TOLD to.

The highways are filled with drivers that regard traffic laws as suggestions, or consider themselves above the law. Among them are those that cross double yellow lines, those that run stop signs, those that blow through fresh red lights, and yes those that speed.

Mr. Cash is right, Jay. You, yourself took this discussion beyond mirror choices and mentioned speeding tickets and your need to monitor the location of police. What did you expect?

Does anybody have any pictures of mirror modifications, or maybe a set you've been thinking about ?!?

A looooong time ago, I brought up the idea of swapping mine out with the CTX700. A few people replied with a similar opinion that the stock NC mirrors are unsightly, and they were open to modification ideas. Just wondering if anyone followed through on that...

I finally found these very cheap replacements and thought they would give a little more style to my girl's figure…lol
I can't wait to post pics for y'all when I get the replacements….

I drive fast too Jay. Just didn't want to get caught up in the thread. I've always rode a little crazy. This bike holds me back which is probably a good thing.

Now here's a mirror I would be interested in. These were mentioned in a CycleWorld article. They are RAM mount mirrors that replace your stock mirrors, offer great adjustability, would allow folding in or down for bike storage, and would be very hard to break off.

Lots of dual sporters around here use those mirrors. They rotate instead of breaking. They are on my farkle list.
