Hi, my first post - I just got a 2015 NC700X, & am in the process of lowering (short rider). Installed a low center stand & 140mm lowering links, then got stuck trying to raise the fork tubes .5 in. Had the bike on the center stand, & supported by a jack on the oil pan so the front wheel was slightly off the ground. The forks were loose enough to twist, but would not budge upwards when trying to move them one at a time. So I tried loosening both sides, but then both forks suddenly dropped down around 1 inch towards the bottom of the upper clamps. I thought the jack support was supposed to avoid that, but I guess I set it wrong? How do I get the fork tubes to move back up? At what height should I set the jack under oil pan/ around how high should the front tire be above the ground to move the forks back up? I'm scared they'll keep dropping through down thru the upper clamps. Thanks
