Yammie’s celebrating 25 years of their iconic R1 with a new GYTR PRO!
For those of you who don’t know, Yamaha’s GYTR PRO models are made with the same people responsible for punting out the Iwata WorldSBK machines; as such, top-tier pieces are a must – even Yamaha herself is claiming that this new model “will bring World Superbike levels of spec and performance to the R1 range” (via Visordown).

The above may feel like hefty praise, but hold your doubt until you get a load of the big-buck stuff this R1 GYTR PRO 25th Edition is getting:

Not enough for you?
Don’t worry – Yamaha can also upgrade the 2023 R1 GYTR PRO 25th Edition to accept the GYTR Pro Electronic System (GPES) – an electronics engine package module, which gives you the following:

Only 25 of these special bikes will be made for Europe, so if you’re in the area, be sure to place that wallet down; once the bike is built, we’re told that “the 25 owners will then get the chance to have the bike set up for them by a team of Yamaha technicians and will receive the same level of service that the factory’s WorldSBK riders are given.”
Looking forward to seeing the continued legacy of the R1’s 25-year reign.
