Question Tire question from new rider

It's time i change my tires. I own a Honda NC700s 2012. The rear tire is 160/60ZR17 but because this whole category of motorcycles doesn't exist where i live (Qatar) these tires aren't available. I've been looking for a couple of days. I found 180/55s and 170/70s but that's about it. 180s are too wide and 170/70s are too thick compared to my old tires. And ordering online would cost me a lot in shipping ($100 ish) and waiting time. Not sure what to do, any help appreciated.

Talk to your dealer. They may be able to get you something

The 170/70 should work. Only 10mm taller and the 70 will fit on the wheel and there in room back there for 10 mm wider.

Is 150/70 available? Better alternative; only 9mm off from OEM. Won't slow down the steering like the wider tires either.
BTW, 170/70 is 23mm taller than 160/60 using straight aspect ratio calcs.

I luckily found 170/60 maxiss tires which would fit well i think. Only 6mm higher theoretically.
