I received MRA X-Creen a couple of days ago. I mounted it on my Cal Si Med windshield. I took it for a ride yesterday, it took about 4 adjustments to get it were I wanted it. I rode at speeds between 45 & 80mph. The wind went over my helmet and it was a far more comfortable ride. I use ear plugs most of the time, befor I put the Creen on even with the plugs in, I could hear wind noise with the shield down on my full face helmet, but no more. http://http://www.ebay.com/itm/MRA-X-Creen-XCTA-Univ-Add-On-Adj-Air-Deflector-Flip-Spoiler-CLEAR-YAMAHA-/271160957075?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f2273d893&vxp=mtr

Looks good on the NC, looks like it was made for it - great to hear it works ...

That's pretty slick looking. I can't say that I've ever heard anything negative about those Vario units.

Do you look over or through this setup?

What model MRA did you get , I have the SciCal large windshield and was wondering if it would fit ?
Can you measure the distance between the mounting points and post, I’d be most appreciative. Thank

I look over it. I had a Clearview on my Silver Wing that I looked thru. One time coming from Texas I had to ride thru rain for about 100 miles. In order to see, I had to stretch way up so I could see above the shield. It was not fun. I now have a Givi Air Flo on it. This set up on the NC works the same. If Givi ever makes a Air Flo for the NC, I would buy one when this set up gets broken. I bought the one that is screwed on to the windshield.

The link you provided is no longer going to the MRA model you bought. Could you kindly let me know what model you bought, I would love to buy one. Thanks, Marc

The one listed on ebay for $130. I bought the clear one. Between centers it mesures 10 3/16" It is called MRA X-Creen XCTA Univ Add on air deflector Flip Spoiler. They give you a templet to put on your windshield to know were to drill the holes. Befor you try to put it on your shield, put a hunk of masking tape on it from top towards the bottom & mark the center. Then without removing the backing from the template, position it. See were the top is on both sides, remove it & put masking tape there. Again put the template on the shield, mark were the top goes on the tape, then remove the backing & install it. I drilled the shield in 3 steps. Hopefully this link will work. MRA x Creen Xcta Univ Add on Adj Air Deflector Flip Spoiler Clear Yamaha | eBay

Installed my MRA X creen

I installed my MRA X creen over the weekend with some disappointment. The ad on wind deflector is nicely made and I think it looks fine. It works grate at low speeds to about 60 miles an hour. After that at about 80 miles a hour the extra weight and surface area causes the SiCal large windshield to bend back. IT bent back so far that it took a lot of the benefits away and once again I was in the blast of air with the wind noise again ringing in my ears. I have not given up yet. I need to make some sort of brace to prevent the bending. If I can manage this I’ll keep the creen or I’ll be buying the next option and last for me.

The SiCal bent? I always had the impression that it was too thick to bend easily. I could see the tall Honda shield doing that though.
