The NC was a fantastic moto even after all the suspension mods I've done to it but the more I drove it everyday on my 200 mile round trip commute the more I wanted out of the bike. I've been looking at an adventure bike that had more power, cruise control, traction control, ABS, and reliability...
Anyone heard of these guys, saw thier video on YouTube testing an NC on a MX track with thier fork setup. I like how they have an extra 1 inch travel kit for the fork. I'm interested on trying this out...
I've got the off road bug, I feel like with the new setup I wanna push and go somewhere harder lol.
Here's a short video of me and my brother taking our NC's out on the dirt. 3rd time riding on dirt for me and first for my bro...
My setup:
Racetech gold valve fork emulators
Aprilla Tuano rear...
First long trip on the NC and the 2nd time riding on dirt, this time up the Coast Ridge Trail. New suspension setup made the ride more confidence inspiring. Going where dirt bikes and Jeeps go..lol.

After finding out that I have a non OEM shock already installed on my bike, the question is what shock is it? Will after some drunk research on the interweb the closest shock that resembles the one installed on my NC is from a 2011-2017 Suzuki GRXR 600-750 OEM shock. WTF? The bikes rear end does...
Worth the overhaul, no more hard suspension jarring on crappy roads. Fork emulator plus 3 pot caliper, and stainless brake line definitely makes the bike feel better when stopping, although the master cylinder could be replaced. And there was no need for me replace the rear shock with the one...
I'm liking it, speedo is off by 3mph with 150/70/17 rear shinko 705 tire. Puts the rpms at the perfect powerband IMO. Haven't checked mpgs yet, stock cruising at 75mph I was getting around 57-58mpgs, so will see how much I lose....

Theese were installed at 38200 miles, bike currently has 48641 miles a total of 10441 miles on the tires. Keeping them at 36psi all around for a highway commute of 200 miles round trip and about 100 miles of dirt riding on them at 25psi. Front looks like they can last another 5+ thousand miles...
Waited 2 months for the exhaust to arrived coming from Hong Kong. Paid a total price of $82. Suprised by the quality of the welds, even came with extra tabs for the springs, and fit was spot on. Sounds great with the silencer off. Yes, I used lacing wire, I could not get the damm springs on. Had...
It was short but this was my first dirt ride on a motorcycle.. Lol. Couldn't be more happier to do it on the NC , although I took it nice and slow. San Diego, Otay Truck trail.
