    Givi rack 2016 NC700x DCT

*sigh* Thank you. I did not go to Giviusa because frankly the last time I looked the site was very hard to navigate. I appreciate the assist. Hopefully this will help the next person.

    Givi rack 2016 NC700x DCT

Lots of searches here and various sites, but I'm still struggling. I'm looking to add the Givi monokey cases to my 2016 NC700x DCT. But putting that model into the typical vendor sites I don't see a fit. So I'm asking: should I use the PL1111 or the PL1146? It appears that the 1146 is the...

Front brake caliper housing meets disc lock

As a coda: The part is "45290-MKA-D81 BRACKET SUB-ASSY," and it indeed is simply a matter of removing the 12mm bolts and the 8mm bolts that hold the ABS sensor in place. The interior brake pad was dislodged but I had to remove the caliper pin anyway so it was easy to re-seat the pads in the...

Front brake caliper housing meets disc lock

Sorry: I've always called the book that the service techs use for repairs "a shop manual." Something my Dad called the books and I guess it just carried forward. Apologies for the confusion. I picked up a paper copy of the service manual when I purchased the bike. Appreciate you clarifying.

Front brake caliper housing meets disc lock

Thank you! I do plan to use my torque wrench, but do very much appreciate the heads up. I've got the part on order, so I'm in a holding pattern. It looked like a bolt on process, likely IS a bolt on process, but fear of the unknown right? This is not covered in my copy of the shop manual...

Front brake caliper housing meets disc lock

Perfectly valid question: I did have it, but lost it somehow. Never forgotten it in the past. I've got a new one coming and will work diligently to not lose the cable.

Front brake caliper housing meets disc lock

Leaving the house today I forgot my disc lock was in place. Dumb I know, but well here I am. It looks what I would call the disc brake caliper assembly/housing broke free from the mounting bracket as a result of my error. I've done a forum search and not found where others have...
