A few people have been scammed on the site, Only use paypal to pay for items for sale by other members. If they will not use paypal, its likely a scam NEVER SEND E-TRANSFERS OF ANY KIND.
On the contrary, it does. The DCT on my bike "behaves" quite differently now, compared to the first 1000 km. This learning "thing" is one of the reasons, why some bikers do a DCT reset once in a while.
I am saying that when I ride in "S1" mode, the bike will not up-shift to 6th gear before I...
Why ? In what circumstances ?
I ride a 2016 NC 750 X DCT and hardly ever use the rear brake. In normal circumstances, I use the engine to slow down (traffic lights, intersections) with a little bit of front brake assist to come to a complete stop.
Throttle response is very smooth, so slow...
Take a bike that you are capable of fixing by yourself in field conditions with your own tools (except for the welding machine, which is relatively easy to come by even in remote areas).
Rode my son's 2004 650 GS Dakar (21" front wheel) for a couple of weeks Single cylinder needs getting used to, but definitely more fun to ride than the NC (and off-road capable).
On any road other than highway, Dakar beats NC hands down.
NC DCT is a practical commuter, but by no means a comfortable long distance tourer.
No sense in spending cash, trying to make a horse from a donkey :)
IMHO needless to say :)
Start with the seat mod described in this thread:
http://nc700-forum.com/forum/nc700-mods/1574-seat-mod-slope-change.html?highlight=seat
This mod costs pennies, takes just a few minutes to complete, yet significantly improves riding comfort.
If that is not enough, replace the seat...
