Does it take any special tools to get the damping rods out of the forks? I put emulators in my old DR and had to rig up a tool to get the rod out because I was too cheap to buy the $40 tool to do it. Looking back, I should have just bought the tool... which was basically a very large allen...

My bike does the same thing. I have ridden 2 NC's and they both had the pulsing (non ABS). I attribute it to the wave style front rotor.
