Hey Brian, I have the 10U in my Shoei Neotec. So far I love it. I've test flown the FM radio (okay) and the cell phone option, taking a call on the road (intentionally to test) and it worked well. Person on the other end couldn't hear the wind at 45MPH. Waiting for longer ride this weekend with...
Welcome from Denver, CO! The mods become addicting quick; I took delivery of the parts necessary to add the 12V accessory socket in the frunk yesterday.
Made the trip to Black Canyon of the Gunnison for 4th of July but took a car since I had a non-rider with me. Did you come back Hwy 50? I cannot wait to take the NC for that ride!
Love the Soundbomb! I added it a few weeks ago and it has already saved my *** twice in the same day. Nothing like something that sounds like half 18-wheeler/half freight train.
Greetings from just south in Denver from a rider and a skydiver. You'll love your NC. Mine is just under 3 months old and I turned 3100 miles meandering through the mountains yesterday after work. Let me know if/when you're down here and I plan to ride through WY up to Yellowstone and Tetons in...
How do you like the 52L top case? What do you think of its size? I put the rear and side racks on my bike and now need to order the cases now but am worried the top case is too big.
400 mile round trip to Royal Gorge, Arkansas River. Rode through snow, rain, hail and bright sunshine. Thankfully it was mostly sunshine. You cannot beat springtime in Colorado.
Royal Gorge Bridge in the background.
I love the idea of packing my bike up like that, putting it on some other mode of conveyance and getting it to another continent. Maybe that should go in my 5 year plan.
Welcome from Denver, CO. You'll grow to love this bike. I'm ready to turn 1600 miles and she's a month old today. At about 1200 miles she started enjoying life and felt much smoother. -Rick
Thanks for the feedback! I'll give that a shot tonight. I'm all about not making a mountain out of a mole hill. They sent me 75mm bolts which I hope will be long enough. Report to follow.
Barkbuster Storms: Partially installed. It's a bit of a challenge to get the weight bar out. I will go back and tackle the throttle side tomorrow. Need more tools for this job.
Hey Jab -- Been riding a lot. In 5 days I will have had my bike for a month and she will have 1600 miles on her. I'm super excited to be back on a bike since I've been four-wheelin' for the past few years. I just booked a 10 day vacation for this summer where I plan to put a couple thousand...
I couldn't resist the urge. When I got home from work today I jumped on Sofia and took her for a ride to test out the wind redirection with the tall windscreen. There is a big front is blowing in and the flags are perfectly perpendicular to the flag pole they're attached to and in some cases the...
