On my travels accross the tubes, I found this:
Spyder 2013 ST-S Three-Wheeled Motorcycle | Can-Am Roadster
Can-Am Spyder Trike. This specific version - the ST - looks like it's a perfect commuter, but with 100hp and 80 ft/lb of torque.
Not sure I would ever buy one myself, but I've...
I went looking for the official Honda Manual ( hard to get hold of in the UK - dealers very reluctant to sell them ) and found this instead.
UK: Honda NC700 Service Workshop Owners Manual NC700S NC700SA NC700SD NC700X NC700XA | eBay
US: Honda NC700 Service Workshop Owners Manual NC700S...
This happened to me about 1/2 hour ago. I am still trying to work out if it's funny or annoying.
Backstory:
In about 6 months I will be leaving the UK and going to live in the USA for three years. My current feeling is that I don't think I am going to road-ride/commute on a bike in the US due...
I have a friend looking for a 2nd hand nc700, as far as I know he's thinking about the NC700S, and he's asked me if there are common faults and issues to be aware of.
I don't really know enough about the issues with these bikes to know how to answer. I've told him about the chain recall if...
I was talking to a friend today about how he wanted to start learning to ride. We sat down and worked out how much it will cost him to getup and running with an nc700x. I was actually pretty shocked By the costs.
Remember that I'm a Brit, so costs are a bit different over here, and also...

Hi all.
Just looking for opinions on your thoughts for the best tyre for commuting in wet weather and sloppy roads.
These tyres won't be raced or hammered and will only be on for a few months, so lifespan and stuff like ability to grip in a high speed corner don't matter.
Thanks
Steve
Hello all.
About 95% of the time I will be riding my NC700 on the road. Given that in a few months I move to the US, and have seen the crazies who drive over there, I am whole heartedly in favour of as many gadgets and fangles as I can get that can keep me safe, and the combined ABS function...
Hi,
The DCT has a very clever gearbox and two clutches in it. I was wondering if anyone has got to a point where it's been either repaired or serviced yet, and if you could give an idea of costs compared to a regular setup?
Thanks
Steve
Hi,
I'm in the middle of buying shiny bits for my 700x before it is delivered.
One of the things I am looking for is an uprated alternator. As far as I can work out ( from a couple of great threads on this forum ) the alternator is a 420w unit. Looking at the perhipherals that I want to...
Hi.
Not sure if this is the place to out this. If its not, apologies to the mods and please could you rue home it?
I'm a UK rider who will be soon be moving to live in the US - specifically Georgia.
It looks like I have to re-sit my test within 3 months of coming over. I don't know...
Hi all.
I am currently riding a Triumph Tiger 800xc, and will soon be swapping it for an NC700x - it's on order, just waiting for it's arrival. Most of the time will be spent commuting, but work will be going into the bike for road treks and a little off-roading.
I have been out for a test...
