Hey KDRider I'm in Florida too (north Florida to be exact). Next time you decide to go on a trip let me know so I can try to follow you up. Or, let's meet for lunch sometime...... if we are within riding distance.

Yep that's right, I made my own tail light holder. Well, I didn't make it per sey but I did have to assemble everything correctly once I made the bracket to hold the rear tail light assembly. Robbed the aftermarket tail light assembly from my 2013 CRF250L (assembly is a DRC "Edge 2" tail light...
LOL ...that's fair.
Sad thing about it is that every road leading to the crossroads of time and Deals Gap are all awesome but a bunch of folks miss them because they have one thing in mind: Get to "The Gap" so I can ride it, buy my t-shirt, get some stickers, eat a cheese burger, and go back...
I'm gonna have to agree with one of the above posts about loving to go to the Gap but it's just as much fun to sit at the store and hang out and chat with the other bikers that are coming and going. A few buddies of mine and I actually sat up under the little covered area at the front doors for...
Do you have a link to Dales bash plate?
I've heard several people talking about it but I have never actually seen one (that I can remember). And, since I'm on the subject, I'm guessing that we can speak to the rigidity of the product but do we have a weight measurement for it? It is a NEEDED...
I've had just about one of everything and these newest lines of D/S helmets are excellent. Sure they have their faults but I love 'em!!!!
Give us a shout in Lake City when you want to go for a ride....
I couldn't agree more...... weekends at the Gap are nothing more than a chrome parade.
If I can go I prefer to make it up there during a weekend ( to get in an early morning run ) and then go explore routes that I've already done a thousand times but can't live without doing again ( thank God...
I'm located in North Florida so if you are going to be leaving from around these parts just let me know and I may try to ride up with you (depending on when it is of course). We've got a supermoto rally up there on July 25th - August 3rd so I'm hoping it isn't during that time. Please keep me...
I actually went to a local tint shop and asked them if they had any "wrap material" lying around that I could use as a test piece. You know, the kind with a million little holes in it. I put it right on the inside of the windshield and it worked perfectly. No muss, no fuss. WOrked great.
I guess I'm a late bloomer because I just saw that on "the Zon" yesterday and immediately bought one. I thought that since I had the battery tender on there (routed out the left side of the bike) that I might ought to re-route the connection inside the frunk and then pop this bad boy on there...
I just love that we've got some ladies on this forum! I love it!! Just goes to show that motorcycling isn't just for guys who want to go 200mph on their turbo Busa's anymore. I can't wait to hear how you ladies are liking your "X"s...... the motorcycles of course.
I'm an East Coast USA rider too. Floridian to be exact. Can't wait to find out more about this bike and become more acquainted with some of its riders.
Cheers.
