Icing777 - Yes there is a small gap in that picture. Angle didn't help but I didn't have it seated all the way when I took the pic...and sorry I always upload sideways :). Gap is gone now and no more than the OEM seat...will shoot you another pic when I get home tonight.

Yes with a little wiggling around on farm to market roads the trip can be made without stopping...or i can reply as OCR did i suppose..."Until I run out of gas again. Which seems to happen quite often."
Occasional "clearing the head ride" on Saturday morning (by the roads less traveled)
Fort Worth to Stephenville to Jacksboro to Mineral Wells to Bridgeport to Fort Worth
201.7 miles lat time we did it. 3.5 hours give or take 10 minutes...no stops
Average rode trip stops every 180 to 200...
Not at all Joe....fun thing about forums is everyone gets to express their opinion. These work for me and should wear slowly with my use. As far as soft bags go though these are better built than others I have looked at..semi-rigid and hold shape better and the inside panel has a stiffener in it...

Agree...over all it's a great bike and after having been off 2 wheels for several years it's a confidense boost in handling. economical and easier to work on than my previous rides.
My complaint about cutting for OEM bags was rather minor....and easily solved by aftermarket accesories :)
