A few people have been scammed on the site, Only use paypal to pay for items for sale by other members. If they will not use paypal, its likely a scam NEVER SEND E-TRANSFERS OF ANY KIND.
Just to add to this thread, I needed to replace my failing starcom and was looking at both the sena 5 and 10.
However just before I ordered I saw scala rider had a new Q1 unit out this week that has dual Bluetooth channels, fm radio, etc and was £60 cheaper than the smh10 at £109.

Hi.
Have a possible issue with auto login on the site, and just wandering if anyone gets the same.
I have auto logon (remember me) enabled, and when I first visit the site, the first page is never logged in. Once I then click Forum it logs me in.
The problem is the front page has all...
Hi Tom.
Pics as promised - took it out like this for a good run today and it was very stable.
Front Straps:
Looped round the frame towards the front
Other front side
Rear strap - not attached but pinched when seat closed
Straps with seat closed
Side view of bag fitted (this is the...
Hi Dominus.
The pack isn't designed to fit like that - the straps we are talking about are only about 2 inches in length and simulate the luggage hoops some bikes have under the seat. Fitting it like a normal tailpack ends up unsecure.
Also, the loops/straps are designed to stay on the bike...
Hi Tom,
No never got a reply on this forum and still playing with best options. Did speak to a few people on another forum who do not attach the back straps (and some who do not attach the front either - they just put them under the sear as needed.
The best I have found so far is:
Front...
I've had the starcom digital on my last 3 bikes. Great unit, but I find the keypad often fails - been back twice for warranty and now just have the keypad unplugged. If I plug it in, the unit is unusable for various reasons.
Hi
Has anyone got any close-up photos of the mounting straps attached to the bike?
I have managed to mount the front two straps but am not sure if I have them in the best place, as there seems to be a bit of give.
As for the back, I cannot see where to mount the rear straps at all...
Hi Ricky,
Just purchased the same bag. Look good quality.
I am trying to see from your picture how you mounted the straps. When I looked at the pictures above before I ordered I thought the fitting system (bike straps) were different.
In the bag I have four light coloured straps. Can you tell...
Thanks Nige.
Yes, the pdoiler needs wiring in. This was easy on the Sprint GT as I just hooked into the topbox power lead, but really cannot be bothered with wiring it in on this bike.
Also found out today that tutoro are only up the road from me, so will buy one and support a local business...
Hi nige.
In the photos on the site it shows it connected to the frame with a big black thing under the tie wraps (first pic). Is that included with the oiler? Did you manage to fit with the kit (which kit) or did you need extras?
I was going to fit the pdoiler from my own bike, but this looks...
Thanks for all your responses. I filled up tonight (11.3 litres and had done 138 miles) so I will see how this tank goes.
One quick question if I may, how far do you guys normally fill the tank to? I notice on this bike the filler hose fits in like a car and you can fill to the first click. But...
Hi.
I was hoping someone here might be able to help.
I have just purchased a NC700X, with the main purchase decision being the MPG that is quoted and mentioned on various forums.
When I got the bike I filled up (0 miles on the clock), and have been riding a mix of city and highway. I...
