I fill up in NJ 90% of the time. Gas is cheaper than NY. Never had any issues when filling up with the bike. They usually swipe their card and then hand the nozzle over to you. Sometimes they are there to take it back or else I just place it back into the holder.
I was recently up in Vermont...
Yeap it looks like the 2013 has the cuts already in the bodywork. Also if you look on the Powersports site for 2013 accessories, there are a few listed compared to the accessories offered for the 2012. They should have thought of that with the 2012. Like everyone says, it seemed kind of strange...
I am averaging about 65. But my last fill up, highway riding with just the top case and traveling at 75-80 mph gave me an 80.2 mpg. Whoa.
I enter the info into my app whenever getting gas.
What is everyone's opinion about a plugging a tire?
I went in this weekend for my first 600 mile service and got a call that there was a nail in the rear tire. The tire only has 650 miles on it. They plugged it with a mushroom plug from the inside out. The service adviser said that I should be...
Def big thanks to the forum adn johnakay for the info on removing the rear cowl. I was afraid I was going to break something or one of the tabs. But spread them a little wide and pull back and bam, the seat cowl came right off. Almost starting cutting it in place.
Same issue with me with Rocky Mountain and ProCaliber.
EDIT:
Just received confirmation email that centerstand has shipped out from Rocky Mtn and will arrive Thurs.
I bought a Swann Freestyle Cam. Less than a GoPro and does the same job.

Top of Bear Mountain NY Saturday. A little chilly in the morning. 2nd time out on the bike and I can concur that the seat is not comfy after 1 hour of riding. Coming from riding a sport bike and leaning forward, my butt was a little sore. But overall, didn't feel beat up after the ride so it was...
Rocky Mountain ATV had it for $112 but I just checked and it is at $132 now. It was probably an end of March sale at 25% off.
I managed to order one but it is backordered until 4/22. Not sure what the ETA is for your order.
My insurance was the other way around for full coverage in NYC. Progressive classified this as a sport bike. Geico considered it a touring bike. 50% less at Geico and it only took 15 minutes! LOL!
Interested to find out how everyone else makes out with insurance.
If one does not have an air saw, what other tool(s) would you recommend? A dremel? Picking up my bike this weekend and already have the saddlebags and rear carrier components.
Like you said, once you cut, you are past the point of return.
Thanks for any info.
