Hepco Becker at International Motorcycle Show in Atlanta

Came here to mention this after seeing their setup here in Chicago. Thought it would be worth a bump to the top of the page. The tire hugger looks great.

I call my NC "Honda Number 2"

    Staying dry

I went a different direction with waterproofing and looked to technical apparel. I use Marmot Gore-Tex pants and am about to purchase a Marmot Shell as well. They pack easy, weight absolutely nothing, breather well, are built to withstand the constant abuse of mountaineering, and are guaranteed...

    the hand wave for motorcyclists?

I drop two fingers down in a "peace sign" below the waist. As someone mentioned earlier to "keep the two wheels on the road" There was a recent Can-Am commercial where a motorcyclist does this as he's passing a can-am as if to indicate that the can-am too can be part of motorcycle culture...

    Shoei TZ-1

I'm with Rocker on this one. I would never buy a used helmet. Also, when trying on, move your head right and left, you don't want any movement from the helmet when doing that as well.

    Chain lube

I used Motul chain lube because I like the guys who run Motul in the U.S.

Where do you like to keep your RPMS

Well now I feel like an immature teenager. I shift at about 4500-5000. I ride hard, I guess.

I'm gonna kill that Honda Gorilla!

If you talking about the screw on the underside of the assembly that has a runner bushing underneath I know exactly what you are talking about. I ended up having to warm up the rubber to it some flexibility, and attached a vise grip to the screw to get it loose. It took forever.

Geza Gear Covers - Anyone have one?

I searched the site for "geza" but it returns no results. Does anyone have experience with this company? Looks to be a pricey option, but if it's worth the added cost, I'd likely get one, since my bike sit outsides all day during the workday. Geza Custom Motorcycle Covers Stretch Fit Towable

    about bike trade

i came to the nc700x from the cruiser culture here in he US and couldn't be hapier. if you are looking for a bike that you can have for the rest of your life, i think practicality will always trump "looks" and "cool factor" over the long run. There is very little you can't do on the NC700x. long...

    Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) Drivers

So, last week I posted that I was having some issues loosening some screws, and it was suggested that I try to pick up a JIS screwdriver to work the screws. I just wanted to let everyone know that these things worked so well it's actually hard to believe. I was working in low light, and I...

    Bar End/weight removal (How to)

I'll try to help you out, I'm sure others might have differing opinions Removing the Bar Ends This should be fairly straight forward. Hold the bar weight with one hand and then only the screw should turn. So, loosen the screw while holding onto the bar end weight and you should be set...

    Compressor Recommendations

Does anyone have any recos for a portable air compressor? I was looking at the Stop & Go. I like how it can plug into my tender wire. Was wondering if anyone has used anything else that they like a lot. Thanks.

    Acerbis Dual Road "handguards"

I'm just about to complete installation of my Acerbis guards. I message the first poster and found out he used the 10mm spacer. Which one did you choose to go with? I was unable to pull the inner weights by hand, and had to head to AutoZone to borrow a slide hammer and the axle flange (which is...
