Howdy. If you haven't already, you should check out Two Wheeled Texans:

Lots of Central Texas group rides formed there.
I own both and a VFR1200X, all DCT.
Despite the fact that the NC700X and AT might be close on the scale does NOT translate to the "feel" weight of the two bikes. If I had no idea about bike weights, I'd guess my AT weighed 100 - 150 lbs. more than my NC700X just going by feel alone. Plus...
Yeah, but in reality though, when exactly does a 19" wheel trump a 17" wheel? I've had my NC700X on some fairly rough roads and haven't noticed a huge difference. What are people rolling over on their CB500X's that they need 2 more inches to make it? If its just marketing, then I get it...
It's actually 74cc diff. 745 vs. 671.

Tried using a fork seal cleaning tool to no avail. Taking the bike in tomorrow to get both fork seals replaced.
Are there any boots or protective socks for the NC700X that I can install to prevent this from...
It does kind of sound like that. I don't ride the bike a lot so I'm not entirely sure it wasn't doing it already. Thanks.
I'll lube the chain just in case that might be a factor as well.
I did 250+ miles on the NC700X today and towards the end of the day, I started noticing a noise that I hadn't heard before coming from the bike.
Every time I would accelerate, roll the throttle, I would hear a squeaking noise that seemed to continue as long as I held the throttle.
If I...
If I was going to pick one seat manufacturer to make me a seat that is 2-3 inches taller than stock (and hopefully more comfortable as well) which one would you recommend?
Thanks for all the tips.
