My 600 mile service was just a $90 dollar oil change at the dealer. I thought they checked the valve clearances as well, but thats not until the next service, and if I had known that I would not have wasted the money.

I just got the smaller x grip and it holds the 6p just fine. I looked at the larger version, but it seemed like it could be too loose. I think the max width on the small x grip is 3.25 inches. The part number is RAM-HOL-UN7BU

If they didn't even manage to get the front brake light switch plugged in correctly, I wouldn't have too much faith in them having done the meter swap correctly either.

I've got the stock flasher on a 14 and I cant use the hazards unless the bike is on already. They stay on when you shut it off, but you cant turn them on unless the key is on
