I did follow the manual except for having the bike upright. I will check the oil again after the bike is more warmed up as I only had it running for 3 minutes (manual says between 3 and 5). And yes the engine was cold when I checked the coolant so I will leave it as it is.

Been reading a lot on here about windshields. Sounds like the madstad is the way to go. I don't mind the noise of the stock windshield, it's the violent wind to my chest that I can't stand. Looking forward to learn some more here!
