I`ll keep on looking for more.

So far I've added fork slider guards (Bike It ones from Amazon for £10), rad guard and Shock Sock (R&G Racing in the UK - £55 for guard, Shock Sock FOC as gesture for delays in delivering guard). On back-order are hugger/chain guard (Skidmarx UK, £75), fenda extenda (Pyramid Plastics, UK at £35). Also waiting for my dealer to get Honda panniers and centre stand ordered with bike at discounted prices.

Still waiting for my NCX in Magna Red, however nearly all of my accessories are at my dealers waiting to be fitted when it comes.
So far I`ve got a lowering kit, rack and top box, R&G rad guard, Honda heated grips, bigger screen, wind deflectors, leg deflectors, Ermax colour coded rear hugger(if it fits with the lowering kit on)and a Pyramid fenda extenda(still to turn up). Probably order the panniers before I go to France in June.

On bike lowering - what is involved with replacing the rear links? Do you also need to raise the front forks to match the 40mm lowered rear? Also does lowering reduce the overall rear suspension travel? Thanks in advance.

Phoned my dealer in London today to chase the Honda panniers and centerstand I ordered with the bike. Not happy when they told me that availability has slipped from end of March (the timeframe I was originally told) to mid-May!! The Big H is driving its customers into the open arms of the aftermarket competition.

HI all , we had word from a company that is importing some goodies for the NC, couldn't wait for all to do their thing, so we started to ge a machinist to start on crash bobbins. This is how far we are. all from billit aluminium, the bobbins will fix to this, turned from poly prop or nylon.

Fenda Extenda from Pyramids? I was told from them that these are not available or in production and hence not possible to order. How did you manage to order fenda extenda for the NC700X?

DIY Bobbins

Hi Thomasec ,
the bobbins arrived today. This is the first run, at the cost, it's not a train smash if not 100% as far as length and position is concerned. These were turned out of relative cheap poly plastic, extremely hard stuff. It is bolted on the bracket shown earlier. We will have to lower the brackets as far as they will go, and make longer bobbins, we found that at this stage, with the BarkBusters installed, the gear lever is the most vulnerable, it tends to bend inwards, and over the link, making down shifts impossible. We are very happy with the progress made, and sure we are on the right track!
See photos. Keep well!

Look 'professional' - but could we see a picture of whole bike fitted with them as the close-ups make the bobbin look very 'big'!

Hi Rev Ken,
These are just a first try, with dimensions of 70mm long and a diameter of 35mm, that's why it's difficult to see! Have a look, that's my artist daughter trying out the bobbins as foot rests. We have since moved the clamps down, and will get longer plastic parts.
