Pictorial for removing panels

I have stripped my bike down to the bone, and the plastic is a pain to do. If I never have to replace another front blinker, it will be too soon.

Looks like a good opportunity to have a beer and cigar. If there was heat in my shed, I'd be out there doing the first service. But I really don't like handling cold tools.

Are you, or Fuzzy going to Deal Gap, NC this year for Horizons Unlimited? I hope so!

Yes sir! For sure! Though, this time I'll be doing what Kameran did (guy on the BMW F650 camped next to my site) and take a couple of days camping along the BRP. I'm happy the event was moved to September and hope there won't be rain every day. See you there!

i've stripped to the bone CBR600RR at least 6-7 times.here is the bright side-the more often you do that-the quicker it gets :)

I am actually glad to hear you say that. I thought the intense level of frustration I was feeling was just mine. Its good to know an experienced mechanic feels the same thing. My question is, how do you train a service tech to get it right. Mine still isn't quite right.

See Fuzzy's post "Classic Look For NC700". Lot less plastic and easy to mount blinkers.
Here you go:

I'm positive that this is photoshopped, but that's pretty hot. I'd seriously consider a bike like that (if it had some integrated mounts for a windshield).

Honda official name is trim clip. Instructions for using them are in the U.S. owner's manual.
Push the center in unlocks them and then the whole clip pulls out. To reset it, spread the legs out a little and they will easily push back up and in. The center section will now be raised above the rest of the clip. Insert clip into hole and then push the center section down flush. clip is now locked.

OK I've remove the tail piece, frunk top.
so now I need to remove the lower front panel.
its seem that there is no need to remove the top panel nor the black bit according to the pictures in 670.....
I've taken the 2 top screws out and will need to remove plastic trim clip,2 bolts at the side .
is there any thing else I should?

You guys have spent way too much time on this one simple project. Just do like I do, give the keys to your wife, and ask her if she would do this little motorcycle project for you!
