New Hope, PA

Looks like an adventure to me, both in town and riding. Looks like lots of good folks. Keep rolling and rolling and rolling.

When was this? I started to roll down there yesterday morning, but ended up at the Delaware Canal and Lake Nockamixon instead. If I had turned right and hit 202, I might have been on video...lol. :)

it's around published date on youtube. i just bought a cheap action cam and playing with it. it is cheap and so the quality..have to take it back to the store

Was just on 32 through New Hope today coming back from NJ on business. Unfortunately in the car not on the bike. New Hope is an interesting town to visit but on any nice weekend the traffic on 32 and 611 is too heavy to really enjoy the ride both with bikes and cars. Also don't know how it is now but a couple years ago New Hope police were cracking down hard on loud pipes on the weekends. Not an issue for my bikes but beware if you're running an extra loud exhaust.

Otherwise on a weekday, 611 and 32 along the PA side of the Delaware river is a "must ride".

i was all over Fort Mayers,Bonita Springs area. and Sanibel. i like the gulf side. old folks, nice and quiet.

you can pic any road that next to a beach and just go on it miles and miles.

here is Barefoot Blvd ,Bonita Springs(it's a real public road, not some closed gated community) :)

as for exact roads-Imperial Pkwy,Bonita Springs(became Livingston Rd) Hickory Blvd(Bonita), some of Rt 41, on Sanibel-there only one road anyway-Periwinkle way into Captiva Rd, Bonita Beach Rd and so on.
you can actually go on Google maps and literally walk on those roads :)

i do this all the time, before visiting the place,so i kind of know the area in advance

That used to be a weekly ride, for my ST1300 buddy and me (on my R1200C and later MTS1100), to ride north on the PA side of the river to the Delaware canal state park, then come back down route 29 on the Jersey side. Good way to waste the afternoon when you've got all your household chores done; and, even if you didn't!

With regard to the noise, there's even a sign as you enter New Hope off route 232, 'Noise Ordinance Strictly Enforced'. Although, the police seemed to only enforce that ordinance sporadically.

River Rd is always nice to ride on. i'm few miles away from it. i'm not much of a rider and using the bike as 'another type of transportation" that gets me from point A to point B to see places. sometimes for hiking. parks are nice. like ricketts glen and roads to get there(if you using regular roads, not toll highway).
