Northern California is one of the best places in the country for motorcycle riding. Enjoy these videos shot with a Panasonic XS100 mounted on the end of the left side handlebar. The absence of a shift lever on the DCT means I can use the one button on/off with relative safety.) The videos are from newest to oldest. You can see the difference in to video editing quality. I hope you like the variety of tunes too!

Welch Creek Road in Sunol -Honda NC700X DCT - A ride on Welch Creek Road - YouTube

Mines road to Tesla - Honda NC700X DCT - Livermore California - YouTube

Come on you Southern Californians. Show us that Hollywood influence!?

Very nice! I especially like the first one. My kind of road AND music! Thanks for sharing.

Great videos. You do have some nice roads to ride. Enjoyed the music, especially the Welch Creek ride and Homeward Bound. Thanks for sharing.

The day was too nice to stay inside and edit videos, but here is a "coming soon" edit thrown together with iMovie. Enjoy!

Well. Seems I've not been visiting the forum for quite a while. I've been out riding! Here is a short clip from a new discovery in the east Bay Area of Northern California. The road is called Morgan Territory road and is a smooth asphalt ribbon winding along the foothills of Mt Diablo. The circuit starts on Livermore and returns along Marsh creek and Vasco road. The one lane section through the east bay regional park is terrific. Enjoy!

A Harley and an NC700X DCT ride up a mountain....Not only does Northern California have some of the best off road riding, this twisty ride from Livermore up to the top of Mt. Hamilton, home of the Lick Observatory is certainly in the top five! A friend on a Harley joins me for a ride to the top (and back down, but that's not in the film). The sheer beauty of the DCT (and the precipitous drops just off the edge of the road!) make the ride so enjoyable. Riding on "S" sport mode one need only roll back off the accelerator and the bike downshifts to bite into the curve sticking me to the pavement like glue as a quick throttle back and finger flick pops it back into high gear to rocket out of the curve. Also tried out my new Cardo systems Scala rider g9X. Great sound. Paired with my phone via bluetooth. Volume increases automatically to compensate for increase road noise at faster speeds. Recorded with a Polaroid XS100 mounted on the left grip end. Just fantastic!
