Whats going on at Dunlop

Firstly they have tyre failures at the North West 200 and now they have pulled their slicks at the TT. Not good.

Honestly from a manufacturing standpoint there could be a lot of things. I’d guess they had a bad batch but haven’t yet identified the clean point and are pulling tires under an abundance of caution.

Probably so.

FWIW, Dunlop motorcycle tires in Europe (and so presumably the UK and Ireland) is a Goodyear label, whereas in N. America it’s a Sumitomo label.
