Weird weather: Who has snow?

Here in Tucson, we are experiencing about a week of below freezing weather during the night. But in Mt. Lemmon, where the USA's most Southern ski resort is, they had skiing last week. Very nice. ((No they do not make artificial snow.))

It reached -12.2 in parts of SE England last night. Tomorrow is expected to get really warm with temperatures up to a heady 3

It was -17.7778 C (0F) This morning at 8 am on the drive to work. Car usually starts on the 3rd crank sound, But it went to 4th this morning! Clutch pedal was bit stiff. Winter tires did great on the sub zero and heavily salted roads. By the way, we only got a dusting of snow, they salted last night, and it is so cold normal salt does not work. Nothing like driving on white powder.

We got about an inch of snow over night in Ohio.its been single numbers for 4 days now.

It is now snowing in Chicago. About 1 inch so far.

But have no fear, the white stuff you are driving on is not snow, it is in fact a layer of salt!

It snowed on the parade in Wickenburg over the weekend. There was even a skiff here in the Valley of the Sun on Camelback Mountain.

It should be back to 70 - 75 by the weekend, though.

We have been getting some snow off and on all day here in Oklahoma. Started to think it was going to be a snow free winter.

7 inches so far, more to come tonight. Might actually fire up the snow thrower. It's really wet and heavy. Then melt it all away Sunday.

I got out on the bike on Sunday, then 10" of snow came today. It's been a pretty normal (snowy) winter for us here in Wisconsin - I'm ready to be done with it, already!
