Does anyone have this guard installed, and can share whether it needs to be removed for maintenance tasks, such as valve adjustment?

I can't get the link to load.

I have a skid plate on my bike and think it's all of 4 bolts to remove, so it isn't a big deal to remove for maintenance.

Sorry, the forum keeps adding https://, even inside a quote, which doesn't exist so the site doesn't load. Had to verbalize the address

I had thought you meant a skid plate rather than crash bars, I doubt that'll interfere much with maintenance

I guess the problem with the link is that the site is http not https and for some reason the forum only wants to link to https

it even does it inside of a code box, wow

I've had no issues with changing engine oil/oil filter/ or the DCT filter. It has been awhile since I did a valve adjustment and honestly don't remember if it was an issue or not or if the guards were even installed when I did the adjustment...

I can't speak for how these will work with maintenance on the NX, but as for the quality of workmanship, it is top notch.

My NX250 has front and rear bars from them. Fit perfect and are strong.

If you do go with them please be patient with shipping. Shipping numbers/updates are non-existent but it will arrive in less than 2 weeks. You will have to sign for the package. So get it delivered to your work address if that is an issue.

Someday I'll understand why even in 2019 people will start a discussion but not load the pictures, but probably not today.

Do you have a link to the supplier for these?

Do they need to be removed for maintenance?

Also, how much do they weigh?

The weight is minimal, maybe 10 or 15 lbs. Haven't had any issues doing regular maintenance, including DCT filter change. One of the few guards that I found that would protect most of the engine and tranny area:

Took about a month to get to the USA but I think there was a civil war going on when I ordered them a few years ago...Might be quicker now.

I ordered their large luggage rack for my PC800 7 years ago. It was well made and easy to install, took about 10 days to get it in VT.
