I bought a 2014 NC700 DCT last summer and the came with new unmounted Shinko E705 tires. A 150/70/17 tube less tire for the rear and a 120/90/17 front/rear tube type tire for the front.
How well will the front tire fit?
Do you have to use a tube?
Or should I just buy the proper size front tire?
Thanks

It's my understanding the the tire bead and rim profiles differ between tube and tubeless tires. If I were in your situation , I would surely buy a proper tubeless tire for the front wheel, as that is what the rim is designed for. The street tire I have enjoyed the most so far on the NC, the Shinko Raven, is available for about only about $65 at AMT. https://www.americanmototire.com/st...-120-70zr-17-58w-front-radial-87-4041-mc.html

If you prefer a tubeless Shinko E705 front tire in the stock size of 120/70-17, it can be bought for about $84. https://www.americanmototire.com/du...nko-705-120-70r-17-58h-front-e705-58h-mc.html
