Hi all. Got t boned on my 2012 Nc700x last week and the bike is still in police storage until it can be collected. Just a general question but how likely do you think it is that the bike will be a write off? I was hit at approx 30mph on the right hand side. I think my engine bars, right leg and the right pannier took the brunt of the impact (10 breaks between my tibia and Fibula and a fractured ankle so my lower right leg was pretty much shattered). I could only see the left hand side of the bike after the accident but from what I could see both of the standard Honda panniers were smashed off in the impact but that's all I could see damage wise apart from a large scrape in the paint on the left engine bar where it fell/slid after I came off it.
I'm hoping it isn't a write off but this is my first serious accident on a bike (or otherwise) and I have no experience to draw from as to how bad shape the bike is likely to be in until I can get it collected. I was only discharged from hospital Friday night so can't speak to the investigating officer until tomorrow.
