I have a 2019 NC750X and I need help Installing my Smart Turn signal and brake units.

On the turn Smart Turn signal diagram, it shows a light blue wire (right), a gray wire and an orange wire (left).
My Honda has a light blue wire an orange wire but no gray wire

The right signal has a green wire and a light blue /black wire
On the left side I have a green wire and an orange /black wire.

Can someone please help me find the correct wire I need to connect the Safer Turn brown and blue connectors?????

Next question is on the Smart Turn ST2 brake module

The Smart Turn wiring diagram shows that I should have a brown/white wire, a green/red wire and a green wire
However my motorcycle has a Black/blue wire a black/green wire and a black wire

which Honda wire do I connect to which Safer Turn Wires????

It’s been a while since my safer turn install on 2012.
As I recall I connected to the handlebar electrical connector under the left side front fairing.
The gray wire, orange and light blue are there. Connector 14P green plastic body.
The gray is also present at the turn signal relay.
2019 750 might be different ?

Your 2019 has a LED tail light. Safer brake is calling out the conventional bulb wiring
green/red is the tail running light
green is ground
brown/white is stop brake light.

You could test each of your wires to identify tail and stop wires.
Have no knowledge if the safer brake unit is LED compatible. Suggest an email or call to safer ?

As a comparison 2017 VFR1200x has a LED tail light and the wire colors change at the 3P (pin) tail sub harness.
Green ground wire turns black
Green/yellow turns blue/yellow
Black/brown turns black/white
Proceed with extreme caution some Honda LED “bulbs“ are not 12 volt “bulbs”.
If 12 volt is applied to low voltage LED they might go poof $$$

Thanks. Great info. Getting the foam spacers in place looks like me it’s going to be tough. The switch itself has two small openings on either side where I can stuff in the spacers. my concern is that if I put in the wrong spacer and have to replace it getting the wrong one out is going to be very difficult

My recollection of the foam install in the switch…..is……yes, some caution is required, placing the foam was not complex or beyond a DIY skill for many. If I can find time today, I will split the switch and take a photo of the foam placement install.

Hey I am thinking about getting a smart turn as well. How did you make out with your installation?

How did you get the button off the switch so that you could remove it from the cluster. I take it you have to remove the switch to put the foam in at the bottom. The button looks like it’s a push fit and I don’t want to break it! Bike is a 21.
I’ve fitted ST2 on my Interceptor and it works great, the switch on that was a bit easier to get at.
