Question Repaint, wrap, with graphics? (yes I searched)

I have read a few threads on here about refinishing, wrapping etc. None too conclusive and youtube isn't a treasure trove of info about this.

I'm thinking of applying some racy, ultra-HP-increasing graphics to an NC700x, but I think changing the base color underneath first would be a good idea to make it look best. Do the graphics kits out on the market adhere to vinyl wrap, or Plasti-dip, or is paint the only thing they will work with?

Wrap or Plasti-dip is obviously the easy route, but I don't know how that would interact with whatever adhesive is used on typical graphics kits.

I've never done any wrapping but another VFR1200 owner here in town did. He did have vinyl graphics on top of a vinyl wrap. I've lost touch with him and I don't know how it held up.
