Ohlins Rear Shock S46 KBA91123

Hi All

I've taken the Ohlins off my BMW F650 and would like to fit to my 2012 NC700X. The bottom mounting is a different fitting which looks like it can easily be changed to fit the NC. Can the rest of it be changed to suit?

Anyone done this or provide a clue?

I fitted the shock off my Ducati to my nc when I replaced it with an Ohlins. It had 2 different mountings 1 was a fork type and the other a swivel ball type but it was the correct length. To cut a long story short I fitted it upside down and it works a lot better than the original. The moral of this story is to think outside the box and work it out.
