I’d be interested in upgrading to a DCT model from a manual should Honda decide to add $0.30 of software and a few $ of controls to the NC750.

No, Honda doesn’t provide cruise control on an automatic or a manual NCX. Your thread title and post are brief; I can’t tell for sure what for you are trying to say. Are you saying you want a DCT, but only if it comes with factory installed cruise control?

Moderator is moving thread from NC700 to NC750 General Discussion since you mentioned NC750.

I agree it would have been nice had Honda included it or made it an option, but knowing Honda it would have been a $1000 option.

Tell us about it..price, where you got it, difficulty of install, how well it works
well, price wise I am having buyers remorse (a bit) when I bought this bike back in April I looked around for a cruise control but no one made anything electronic for them, and considering this version had been out three years already that was not a good sign so I bought a Atlas throttle lock and have been using it up till recently when I went to show a fellow rider who said I needed a MC Cruise that they didn't make one for it, when to my surprise they showed they were about to release one. this past tuesday I checked and it was available so I bought it without checking to see Veridian had also come out with one.
I paid $693usd plus $53 for shipping (did not expect two days from Australia) substantially more expensive than the Veridian.
I bought it direct from MC Cruise, installation not factoring in all the plastic you have to remove was straight forward, MC Cruise supplies extremely extensive detailed instructions, the primary bike specific installation and calibration manual is 77 pages, and there are several more booklets on trouble shooting and changing parameters on functionality.
I went with the previously pictured compact switch pod and on the DCT it required moving over the parking brake lever 10mm and drilling a new locating pin hole, the ECM mounts to the back right outside of the air cleaner access cover and it plugs in between the throttle sensor harness plug just below it, and the harness extends back and plugs inline to the brake signal harness just below the engine ECM, one wire plugs into the lead for the #2 ignition coil. and the one thing some may find tricky is you pull the speed signal wire from one of the engine ECM harness plugs and insert a wire from the cruise ECM and the removed wire connects to a second wire from the cruise ECM and is shrink wrapped.
you then put the engine ECM back in and re attach the battery box and put the battery back in but leave the plastics off, you then power up following the instructions to put it into diagnostic mode and verify the switches and control inputs are working correctly, you then calibrate the throttle input signal before running engine run and throttle control test.

the instructions make it much simpler to do and easy to follow.
it works quite well, I did a 50 mile test ride putting it through its paces, I even switched it on just above the minimum speed it up shifts to 6th gear right before a pretty good hill to see what it would do in a automatic down shift scenario and as the started up grade the transmission kicked down and the speed quickly climbed to 5mph over the set speed before the throttle responded and slowed back down. it is currently programed where single pushes of the increase or decrease buttons produce 1mph changes and the resume function produces moderate acceleration back up to speed.
I do like the back lighting of the control buttons and wish Honda had done the same.

I just had my local Honda dealer install a Veridian motorcycle cruise control on my 2023 NC750X DCT. Love it. Reasonably priced from Veridian (which I bought and gave to Honda dealer). Then two hours labor for Honda to install. veridiancruise.com

a update: three of us went out and chased after Union Pacific's Big Boy locomotive as it came back north through central Texas. one on a 21 triumph 900 rally pro, one on a 23 Honda africa twin adventure sport DCT, and my self on my 24 NC 750XD with MC Cruise control. on cruise the MC Cruise was in lock step with both the Triumph factory cruise and the AT factory cruise. the MC cruise worked very well.

Nice work @nissbird working with Veridian on the control, awesome to see they worked with you and are now offering this as a control for the NC!

If anyone is interested in this, I did find a discount code on reddit that took 12% off the price:

😂 ok explain "fairly"

I'm sure I'd have to be like jwhalen457 and have my dealer install it. That's another $250 if it takes them 2 hours.

Removing the plastics is always a bit nerve wracking (for me) to ensure I don't bend or break any clips etc. but their video does a great job walking you through that.
I had an extra connector in the area that you install the cruise that was different than the video shows, it was not part of the install, I am assuming they were installing on a manual and my DCT wiring was just a touch different.
Finding the right spot for the cruise module itself so it doesn't get pinched by the forks was probably the hardest part of the entire install.
Otherwise, their video does a great job of walking you through the entire install with the exception of mounting the 3 button controller which is very simple. I opted for the nissbird version which just looks factory installed to me.
