Great improvement over the standard seat, but the material on the cover is inclined to show every mark, so only time will tell in relation to the cover material.
When you say the "standard seat" do you mean the '25 version or the previous '21-'24? When I sat on the '25 standard seat I was really impressed. Curious to know how much of an upgrade the comfort seat is over that.

Yes I have the 2025 model, and whilst the standard seat on this is quite good, the comfort seat is a big improvement and for £150 well worth the money, its just the material on the cover as I said thats a bit supect at present.

Looks like 2025 OEM Comfort Seats are now available for purchase in the USA.

I just bought a front and rear set for my 2023 NC750X from Twigg Cycles in Hagerstown, Maryland. After they arrive, I'll need to follow up on how the install process goes along with the extended riding quality.

My new OEM 2025 comfort seats replace the originals perfectly.

The original seats did not cause us any problems but we felt they could be better and that is why I went ahead and bought the new ones.

I have yet to try them out, but upon inspection I believe the cushioning to be more progressive than the original ones. The fabric is much better.
Do you need to buy both? I have a 2022 NC. Do you think there might be fitting issues if I just bought the riders seat? I never carry a pillion and usually put a Kriega US-10 drypack bag on there so I don't care what it looks like.

I didn't need to buy both since I'm mainly a one-up rider as well, but I went ahead anyway for the consistent appearance and the "just in case" factor. :)

Good question otherwise, and I don't have an answer on proper fitment with a 2025 front seat and a previous-generation pillion. I can attempt it and see what happens when I receive the seats, though.

Can I ask, what is the cost on these new comfort seats? Seeing that you bought them stateside, maybe I can just go to my local dealer and order them?

The rider’s seat and passenger seat are $139.95 each. Just picked mine up but won’t get a chance to install them for a couple of days. You can order them from Honda’s web site and pick them up at your local dealer or the dealer can order them for you.

You can buy just the Rider seat if you want, I had no fitting issues and I can tell you they are the same size as the originals

@bgtoga's answer above is correct; I paid $139.95 for each of the seats. Check with your dealer using the following part numbers:

Rider seat: 08R72-MKW-D70ZA
Pillion seat: 08R71-MKW-D70ZA

'25' Comfort Seat just arrived. Already people have been talking about the material change. Much more grippy…. I would liken the material to be a neoprene type substance…
The padding is definitely thicker mid seat and without the slope downwards at the forward sides like the stock “21-24” seat, which is what I have…

Here are some pics: sorry I don’t have a level table for the compare….

The better seat still has torture ridges (sharp edges to cut into your thigh/buttock on long rides), but not as bad. Perhaps the cover could be removed to round off the foam edges.

Sitting on it; with my feet on the ground it does feel wider. Does it feel sharp or torturous? No I wouldn't say that at all upon my initial experience. If i try to put my butt to the rear of the seat, it feels like its tilting my pelvis forward and arching my lower back with my belly going forward, which I can't say is very comfortable for me. However, sitting in the middle, With my feet on the pegs, sitting is quite comfortable. We'll have to evaluate on a long ride . . .

Does it "cure that sliding forward syndrome", mentioned by FireUp & bgtoga? Again, the seat cover is very grippy. But, for me I tend to get closer to the frunk due to shorter arms and the stock handlebar set up... Lets see on a long ride..... To be continued.

Good stuff guys.

For less than the price of a single tire, why not?

Following up on your question...I received the new 2025 OEM rider and pillion seats last week and installed them yesterday evening on my 2023 NC750X.

I fitted the new rider seat first to see how it'd work with the original pillion; all went well, with the exception of the cover material wrinkling a bit when in the closed position due to the slightly thicker material of the rider seat pushing up against the pillion's underside (see the attached photos for reference). The 2025 OEM pillion seat did not do this after installation due to an updated base pan design.

In any case, I would recommend gently pressing down on the pillion seat when opening it with the key so as to reduce tension and stress on the latch cable.

Photos much appreciated; first time I've seen a proper real life view of the seats fitted.
