Lots going on this year, haven't been on much. Figured I'd drop in and chat about the NC. It's doing great, trackdays got cancelled from the Covid bs, but back in full swing now. Went to Barber a couple weekends ago. Running the new Pirelli TD dot race tires....and they are totally badass! Had enough of the junk forks after that weekend at Barber. Pulled them and sent off to Thermosman Suspension in North Georgia to rebuild with new springs, Race Tech Gold Valve Emulators, new bushings and seals. Actually sprung a fork seal leak akd figured if I was gonna have to fix that, might as well get some goodies dropped in there too. Looking forward to how they perform on track. Next will eventually be Ohlins TTX rear shock. Bought a stock seat on ebay to replace the tall Seat Concepts seat for track use, this allowed me MUCH more room to hang off the bike on both sides through turns to mitigate dragging hard parts. Every little thing has helped me get faster and faster, Just wish there was a mod to add another 100hp to it! LOL but I am pretty darn happy with how it does given what it is.

Here are some pics, some are high quality, some are pirated from thumbnail images, so not so high quality. Lol

I was wondering where you were. You seemed to have gone silent for awhile and I was missing your updates and inputs. Many are not applicable to what I do or how I ride but they are interesting to see. Glad to see you back.

Just an odd question, but if I recall correctly its your left lower leg that was amputated. All the photos show a heavy lean to the right, probably because of the track and camera positions along the track but it brought up a question. Do you find it is easier to lean hard into curves to one side and harder to the other? Or is it not an issue?

Bc I am not able to have my left leg tucked under me on the left (think squatting) it is more tiring turning left bc I am pretty much holding my body weight up with my arms, but I can do either just fine. Barber is a mix of right and left, but more rights, which I prefer. Tally is all lefts except for one right turn, so I was getting tired of that track, although it is still fun. Nothing beats Barber around here though.

I'd have to go back and find left hand turn pics at Barber, but here are some from Tally for example.

Also finally finished up the last bit of things from getting divorced about a month ago. Only took 6 months for an uncontested divorce and for that crazy woman to move out....so worth it! Anyways, new girlfriend, school, new job at work, and all this other junk going on, just been so busy that I haven't gotten on much of anything other than Facebook.

She likes to ride, made a near 500 mile trip to Deal's Gap with me a couple months back. We had a blast.

And is cool with chilling in the shop while I fix clutch rod seal that fell out and started leaking oil everywhere an hour away from home on the cruiser! Big change from the last one I spent 5 yrs with. Not really sure how I made it that long with her. We may have looked happy in some pics, but it was a pretty miserable relationship for us both. Just glad it's over.
