My new 750x DCT

The manual version weighs a little less, so with extremely accurate use of the clutch and efficient shifting you might be able to replicate the DCT's mpg and even beat it.
But the DCT tends to upshift earlier then most manual bikers will...

Just curious, but is there much of a difference in the mpg between the DCT and non-DCT versions of the nc750x?
Generally the manual is reported here to get slightly better MPG than the DCT. But since the rider is in control of the throttle in both cases, it all depends how you ride. Mechanical losses within the two transmissions are similar, so there’s very little economy difference between the two, if any. The DCT machine does weigh a bit more.

I wouldn’t even consider the mpg a factor if I were deciding between transmission types at purchase time.
