Sorry, I found another video: Honda's amazing Riding Assist motorcycle won't fall over | PCWorld
At 1:15 we get a very good look at the left side of the bike and what looks like an electric motor in the front axle. I also noticed there is no ABS ring on the front wheel like there is on the rear, probably not needed with an electrically driven, computer controlled front wheel.

Two wheel drive? With reverse? That must be one stout little motor in the front hub to move 500+ pounds of mass from a standstill. I wonder if Honda re-purposed a rear wheel for the front.
