Full Exhaust System

Evening all, I chose to make my NC sound like a mad Ducati...I chose the Delkevic polished stainless angular pipe with the Black Widow Decat pipe from the UK...BOTH ARE QUITE WONDERFUL! The fit and finish are spot on, and the sound is amazing...it sounds as good as a monster 696 unkorked or even my old Ducati S4Rs...once you are at 2k rpm it really sounds excellent. I cannot say enough about the pair.

I went with the Delkevic for length, shape, and removable baffle...also, when I got it, I really noticed how well it was made...

I read alot about the differing opinions on exhaust...I like to hear and feel it...it is more visceral than just tooling along...

Yes very curious about the price and sound.
I know it sounds better but is there any negative as far as power? No loss in mid or upper range at speed?

Yea, it looks to be around $265 total to get it. Still doesn't seem bad. I've considered it, as well. I really enjoy the sound with my Delkevic slip on. It's by no means obnoxious, but just has a great tone.

Surely with the cat gone a remap is required ? Any change to power characteristics ?

From another guy who posted after adding a de-cat pipe with a slip on, he said there was nothing noticeable in the power.

...interesting. I'm considering getting one and doing the delete to mine, but at a later date. Way too much going on with my monthly budgeted play money right now. Maybe later this winter while it has been put to rest for the snow! :{)
