I’m wanting to add highway pegs to my bike, looks like the best way to do this would be to mount engine guards and mount the pegs to those. Who has done this and what bars did you go with?

I have the same bars. I'll just plop my feet up onto that mid-bar for short periods of time to mix things up!Reviving an old thread here, but do you guys have pics of what you've done for highway pegs?
I saw the ones that Dave mentioned, the Kury ones, they look good, but wow those sure are spendy these days.
I have what I think are "R Gaza" bars on the bike and trying to find something that is not going to stick out or get caught on stuff when not deployed.
I think with these on the bike, I can't really install that type of highway peg onto the frame.

Kuryakyn #7993 highway pegs have clamps that fit the frame down tubes without having to use engine guards if you wanted to go that route.
new to NC
Picked up a low mileage 2012 DCT yesterday, rode it home 100 miles, wonderful. After 70 years of shifting and clutching, on and off road, i think this will enable me to keep riding despite arthritis. Only gripe i have is the footrest position, is there a good kit to move them lower and forward...www.nc700-forum.com
I've got a 2024 and Givi bars, though they're two pieces for that year, and extremely similar pegs on mine now. Probably made in the same factory.Givi engine guards bars. I really like these highway pegs, but they did have to be pegged to the crash bar with a screw to keep them from spinning.View attachment 118273
