Discount For Bridgestone Or Michelin Tires

I'm not yet ready for new tires, bot for anyone who is, Motorcycle Gear, Parts and Accessories at Motorcycle Superstore is discounting tires at the moment.

Edit: that first 'tires' link was not added by me and is not what I intended to post. Seems to be an automated process, but at least there's a comparison now.

I am not saying those discounted tires have a problem.

But bear in mind, there is a manufacture date stamped on the tire wall (usually 2 digit for year), and if it is way past, say 3 years or more (please experts correct me), then it is not a good idea to buy them (coz old rubber is hard and could impact the traction compared to a newly manufactured one).

Or am I overly concerned?
