My dealer now stocks the DCT oil filter. Previously it had to be ordered. Honda Pioneer also has a DCT transmission, and it seems good sales of the Pioneer have justified their keeping the filter on the shelf.

or,
dealer service dept. are finally figuring out,
DCT requires changing of an additional filter at
spec intervals.

I believe the manual specifies the DCT filter to be changed during a normal oil change/w filter at 8k miles.

$12 on Amazon [emoji851]. I'm of the same mind - once I get everything out to change the oil I'm gonna change everything.

But......

Honda recommends changing the DCT filter O ring when changing the filter....add another $5...total $17.
I mean, you are in there anyway, right?

:)

Yeah - I guess I'm schizo, I'll replace the DCT filter with the other but not as concerned with the O-ring at other than the spec'd change.

I changed my oil today @ 13000 kms (8000 miles).

No new filters or o-ring. I even re-used the drain plug compression washer.

Drain, fill, done.
