You can always drop it a few times, scratch it up and duct tape the mirrors and turn indicators. Nobody wants to steel an ugly bike.

I use my parking brake as a theft deterrent. I figure anyone trying to steal the bike will not know what’s wrong when they try to drive off. Of course, it’s just a psychological thing, but everything helps. :- )

The parking brake is required by federal regulation on all automatic transmission vehicles.
I don’t really understand why you would remove it.
