Picked up a new (to me) bike yesterday, I'm tickled pink with it.

2016 NC700X DCT with full oem luggage, center stand, hand guards, battery tender, and even left the cell phone mount on it. 4100 miles, 1 owner. I love the color combo, it looks great in person. Didn't like it at first in the pics because it's too similar to my other silver 2013 model, but it looks really good in person, especially with the silver wheels.

I was really close to buying a 2020 NC750X, as I love that all black, but right at $9k out the door for a stock bike made giving $6300 for this one an easy choice.

This will be the dedicated touring machine while the other NC will be the dedicated track bike.

I rode it a little bit late last night. I like the different sport modes and really like the display better on this one better than the older model. Tons of room in that top box too!

Was foggy as hell out at the canyon last night. Kinda creepy out there by myself late at night.

Out on it again, stopped for a bite to eat. I love the higher windshield. Also love how this one starts counting miles once fuel level is low enough for the last meter bar to start flashing (reserve). Several improvements on this model over my 2013 model. I put my Seat Concepts seat on it since I don't use it on the track bike anymore. I'm thrilled with this bike. Will be in the stable for quite a while!

Good looking bike for sure. I also really like your garage.

Thanks man, shop needs organized and new shelving/benches, which will come eventually. Been too tied up in motorcycles to spend much time getting the shop where I want it. It will come with due time tho.

You've got me curious now about the display! Can you post a pic of it? I've got a '14 XD that I really like.

Thanks Rapturee! Rode it yesterday, carved up some curves through the canyon with the girlfriend. I'm ready to go on a couple day trip to deals gap on this unit. We are going to deals gap this weekend, but on the cruiser, as it is more comfortable for her on long trips. But I will be making a solo trip to deals gap on the new NC soon!

Does the GT Air fit in the frunk on the 2016?

Haven't tried it. I believe it is a bigger helmet than the Scorpion I had before it, and the Scorpion wouldn't fit in my 2013 model. There's only supposed to be 1 more liter of storage in the new body styles, which I believe is added via a redesigned frunk lid, because the inside looks identical to my 2013. So I'd say no, it won't fit. But I also wear XL helmets, which are usually of a bigger shell size than L and below.

It fits in the top box though! I keep other stuff in the frunk. Tools, microfiber cloths, air pressure gauge, gloves, garage door opener, cell phone charger, my wallet, and most the time there's a bottle or two of water in there, if not a whole small cooler with a few drinks in it for the road. So I've never worried about if a helmet will fit in it.
