My 17L backpack came in while I was gone to a rally. Checked it out when I got home and unfortunately in my opinion it's too big/not pliable enough to be used in the frunk. Perhaps a camera bag is a better option. Mine's either being returned or given to a grand kid or something.

I still think it's a brilliant idea though

I'm tellin' ya, check out the one I got from Walmart. I didn't even have to order it, it's one they stock in stores (at least locally to me). It also has a small chest strap to keep the shoulder straps from dropping off your shoulders if used as a backpack, and all those tan straps on the outside are molle webbing. I was seriously amazed at the quality for only $17 (in store). The link shows a $15 online price, but I wasn't about to go home and order it online to save $2. I've had this thing in and out of the frunk dozens of times and not even a thread has pulled yet.

If you have a Walmart anywhere close, check it out. I know you're always up for a ride.

This is not a paid advertisement and the author has no affiliation with Walmart. 😁

Sorry for steering you to one that won't work! Good to know that its not pliable though, it sure looked like it was. I expected it to be like a microfiber type of material by the looks of it.

No biggie. It looked ideal in the pic. In person it's just a regular back pack 18" long by 13" wide and the foam in the back keeps it kind of stiff.
Just a warning to others, so they don't jump on one.

I have 5 grandkids 3 of them 12 and under. It won't go to waste lol.
